Equipment foundations

DWA helps teams adding new equipment into existing facilities, including providing new foundations were needed.

In this example, new machinery required over 300 feet of new pit, including a deep central pit for concentrated process loading. Working with the manufacturer, as well as the specialty geotechnical contractor addressing poor subgrade conditions and temporary earth retention, DWA designed an efficient grade supported concrete pit, with integrated steel shapes for equipment load transfer, for final condition.
