Illinois State Police - New Crime Lab
This pair of buildings creates a state-of-the-art campus for the Illinois State Police, replacing the existing 1960’s facility. Forensic laboratory concentrates in one building, including firearm range and testing, while the other building focuses police program.
Simple, efficient steel structures frame these facilities - addressing technical requirements including acoustic isolation, equipment support and bracing, and coordination for extending site structures with thermal separation detailing.
