All exterior columns converge inward for dramatic floating appearance - with steel sloping strut columns requiring compact detailing at nodes to fit within the small column enclosures. In addition to resolving vertical loads, the shallow strut angles created significant horizontal loads that were resolved in horizontal brace detailing.
