Carol Drucker receives Purdue Alumni Achievement Award!

Carol Drucker has received the Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award at Purdue University. Purdue’s School of Civil Engineering has over 12,000 living alumni and each year faculty of this consistently top-ranking school select a group to honor for their particular achievements and contributions to the profession.

Carol is a leader in the steel industry, recognized for her contributions both in her practice and to the profession. She has earned her reputation by completing a wide range of intricate steel projects, and her firm dzse is sought for its high technical expertise and collaborative approach. Carol is active in the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) - serving on the task committee for connections (TC6) and the Specification Committee - and received AISC’s lifetime achievement award in 2020. She has published articles and seminars on steel design, and in 2022 won the Speaker award and was the keynote presenter for the national steel conference.

On par with the technical reputation, Carol is admired for her collaborative, enthusiastic and proactive approach - whether working with clients, colleagues, or students and young engineers as a mentor:
